J. Howard Miller’s iconic poster is often believed to be Rosie the Riveter or one of the many young women who were helping construct bombers and fighter planes on the west coast, but was actually a painting of a young woman from a helmet lining factory.
Welcome to USA Propaganda. Our goal is to archive all the old US Government propaganda posters from the World War I and World War II eras. While our primary focus is on political propaganda from the U.S., we also showcase the propaganda from Great Britain, Canada, Cuba, and many other countries.
